Each week, our Head of School, Jody Michalski, sends out an email message to all families highlighting the events of the week, pictures, and information about upcoming events. This is a collection of those messages.
This week brought exciting highlights! Pickleball season kicked off in PE, students learned a new sport, and we celebrated Sonny F.’s 3rd place finish in the Holyoke St. Patrick's Day Kids Race! Big congratulations to Ainsley P., who placed 3rd in the Stop the Swerve PSA contest, winning $500 for school technology. Students at the event learned about the dangers of distracted driving using impairment simulation goggles. Juniors explored career paths at Westfield State University’s Job Fair, connecting with over 70 local businesses. Drama Club’s "Clue" production is coming together—mark your calendar for May 2! Lastly, Evan D. had a great interview with Coach Sutter from Westfield State. Stay tuned for more in the April Acorn! A great week full of learning, competition, and fun!

This month, we are challenging students to work hard and stay determined. We are partnering with you to acknowledge your child’s achievement of goals- big and small! By helping your child develop perseverance now, you can prepare them to learn from their future failures and work hard to achieve future successes. This month, look for opportunities to teach and model the power of perseverance.
Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying ‘I will try again tomorrow.‘
